The best of the best instagram spots in Cannes!

The seaside, islands, hills and heritage. These are the four attractive features that make Cannes a treat for photographers. While every photographer has their own habits and preferences, there are some essential things not to be missed! Here are the best instagrammable spots in Cannes offered by Max Mon Sport 06. Don’t wait any longer, follow the #CotedAzurFrance guide!

INSTAGRAM SPOT No. 1: THE LÉRINS ISLANDS

Set sail immediately from the port of Cannes…

These islands located in the Bay of Cannes merit their own article. Saint-Honorat and its monastery, charm and timeless atmosphere, and the larger Sainte-Marguerite with its pine forest, beaches and cliffs, and the turquoise waters between them.
A treat for those who love beautiful landscapes and taking photos in all seasons and at any time.
Tip: don’t miss the view from the top of the Fort de Saint-Honorat! The vista there is sublime!

INSTAGRAM SPOT No. 2: LA POINTE CROISETTE

Head for Palm Beach!

Located at the eastern end of the famous La Croisette, the Pointe Croisette, or the Palm Beach peninsula, is perfect for its dual position: You can start the day there with a sunrise over the Mouré Rouge and end it on the western side where you’ll find my favourite spot for Cannes sunsets: the old Pointe Croisette port. Its boats and the view over Cannes and the Esterel offer a perfect landscape…

INSTAGRAM SPOT No. 3: LA CROISETTE

An instagrammable spot in Cannes not to be missed: La Croisette!

Probably the most well-known area of Cannes, La Croisette is also an unmissable spot for photographers. Its beach, renourished in 2019, is truly superb; the hotel façades, sunsets, blue deckchairs and even the red steps of the Palais des Festivals will give you beautiful shots.

Tip: early risers can enjoy having the location almost to themselves!

INSTAGRAM SPOT No. 4: LE SUQUET

Head for the Le Suquet district to enjoy the authentic charm of Cannes!

Narrow flower-decked alleys, panoramic views over the town and sea: the Le Suquet district is truly the heart of Cannes and it offers superb vistas at all times of the day over the town and the Bay of Cannes.

Tip: after reaching the summit, don’t hesitate to climb to the top of the ‘Musée des explorations du Monde’ tower to admire the view!

INSTAGRAM SPOT No. 5: LA CALIFORNIE

This district located in the heights of Cannes offers wonderful views over the town and its bay. Favour mornings for a great light over the town, or the end of the day for the sunsets.

Tip: The Canal de la Siagne path is also a lovely walk to take, and some incredibly beautiful photos await you. A little higher up is the Croix des Gardes park, offering you breath-taking views over Cannes, the islands and the Esterel mountain range.

INSTAGRAM SPOT No. 6: THE BOULEVARD DU MIDI LOUISE MOREAU

Located just to the west of Le Suquet, the Boulevard du Midi leads to Cannes la Bocca and then on to Mandelieu-La Napoule. It runs alongside the sea and both its beaches and the view of the Esterel mountain range offer superb photo opportunities.

Tip: Go up to the red rocks about a 1 km walk from Le Suquet and you won’t be disappointed… The sunsets there are sublime!
