FÊTE DU CITRON® 2024: A CITRUS ZEST THROUGHOUT THE CITY

2024 theme: “Olympia”.

Citrus arrangements will await you in the Biovès gardens, as will numerous activities throughout the town, not to mention an open-air exhibition on the rich history of Menton lemons, offered by the Heritage department.

What’s more, local producers will be present across the town: the chance to visit their stands, stock up on vitamins and discuss their passion for the golden fruit.

You can continue your stroll through the shopping streets – where the Menton Sourire association will organize a shop window competition – up to the Esplanade Francis-Palmero where you will find all the specialities from Menton: jams, olive oil, ceramics, etc.

DAY OR NIGHT, WATCH THE FÊTE DU CITRON® PARADE!

Adults and children will discover citrus fruit from another angle.

The lemon decorated float will light up everyone’s face! When the weather is good, the lemons are even better and you can see their true beauty.

For 15 days, the city walks in steps with the parades in the centre, night parades, exhibitions, etc.

You can also meet the producers and taste the many varieties of lemon. Like its cousin, the Carnaval de Nice, the Menton Fête du Citron is a unique annual event that celebrates the local citrus fruit: Menton lemons.

Colours that diffuse through the evening, to everyone’s delight – big or small!
