Since its creation 28 years ago, the Big Reggae Festival has established itself as a key event on the French music scene. The only one of its kind on the Côte d’Azur, it attracts a loyal, multigenerational and diverse audience, covering a catchment area stretching from the Var to western Liguria. This thematic festival, popular with artists from the reggae culture, traditionally marks the premise of the famous ” Jazz à Juan “, and remains firmly rooted in the area, offering an immersive musical experience in a privileged setting on the shores of the Mediterranean.

With 28 editions to its credit, this unique festival has welcomed over 538 renowned artists, attracting an intergenerational audience of over 100,000 each year. Nestled in Antibes, the festival offers an immersive experience in the world of reggae, bringing together music lovers from all over the world.

For its 28th edition, the Big Reggae Festival invites you to vibrate to the rhythm of :

  • Danakil: With a 22-year career behind them, this French collective has been touring the world and playing major venues, offering rootsy, committed music that resonates in the hearts of its listeners.
  • Groundation: A global reggae legend, the American band, led by Harrison Stafford since 2018, returns with its 11th studio album, recorded in 100% analog, offering intense compositions with complex arrangements and poetic lyrics.
  • Third World: Hailing from Jamaica, Third World made reggae history with iconic tracks such as “96 Degrees in the Shade”. The group continues to liven up stages around the world with its unique style.
  • Mortimer: An up-and-coming Jamaican artist, Mortimer has established himself as a rising figure in contemporary reggae, navigating between classic roots and new Jamaican sounds.Reggae.fr
