PARC ALPHA – THE WOLVES OF MERCANTOUR
In the heart of the Mercantour Park, at an altitude between 1500 and 1800 m, 3 wolf packs and entertainment for the whole family.
In the Mercantour mountain range, the wolf represents the mythical animal par excellence. Parc Alpha invites you to immerse yourself in the life of 3 wolf packs. This is the opportunity to discover the wolf’s environment from the shelter of hides designed especially for observation purposes.
In summer, a unique falconry show plunges visitors into the medieval period. 3 unique sets invite you to dive into 3 different visions of the wolf.
Every day the park is open, the keepers/activity leaders explain the life of the packs to visitors and show how each wolf behaves during feeding. Parc Alpha also allows some people to achieve their dream: become a keeper for a day. Accompanied by the park’s professionals, the keeper for a day steps into the shoes of a zookeeper and mixes as closely as possible with the wolves. A snack bar and picnic area allow you to add to the wonderful day you will spend at Parc Alpha.
