Documentary. Film-conference with Jacques Vigne, in partnership with the salon du bien-être intérieur.
In the middle of the night, and without a word about his plans, the much-loved Tibetan Buddhist meditation master Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche gave up his life on the international stage, to live that of a wandering yogi in the Himalayas.
Unheard of among today's great teachers, such a practice is fraught with hardship. Mingyur Rinpoche faced many challenges: begging, finding food and shelter, coping with illness and all the risks associated with wandering incognito from one place to another with the minimum of possessions across the mountains. This retreat provided fertile ground for him to deepen his understanding of the true nature of the mind.
