Paul Bailet, an archaeologist specializing in Egyptology, will lead this workshop alongside Samantha Fesquet, Young Audiences Coordinator at the Musée des Arts et Traditions Populaires in Draguignan. After investigating and mediating the origins of the fabrics, participants will put themselves in the shoes of an archaeologist and analyze the fabric on display. A description phase, followed by an analysis phase, will be proposed to participants, focusing on different materials: cotton, linen, silk and wool. The session ends with a weaving workshop (surprise).
