The lighthouse has been classified as a Historic Monument since 2012.
Built in 1732, the lighthouse was intended to replace the old 16th-century fire tower. Destroyed in 1944, it was rebuilt in its current form after the war.
It offers a unique panorama stretching from the Estérel to the Italian coast. The lighthouse is now closed to the public.
