Large building at the beginning of the Brouis pass, this castle still belongs to the Cachiady family today. It is not open to the public.
Built on an older building that stood close to the great ducal road created by the Charles Emmanuel I of Savoy, this residence is located on a strategic position. In 1793, violent fighting took place there, during which the soldiers of the Revolution drove out the Austro-Sardinian troops. Now the residence of Empire Ange colonel Louis Cachiardy and his son Jean-Marie, the Baron de Montfleury, the castle still belongs to this old family of Breil sur Roya.
