Cirque Leroux combines gestural grace and technical perfection in this universal testimony of our human condition.
We follow the journey of three women with different temporalities, launched together in an epic adventure and, faced with their acrobatic flights, we dive with them into the past for a fascinating excursion to the present day. With the memory of theatrical, comic and visual paintings of great beauty.
They are all called Nina. They live in 1850, 1960 and 2023. If their destinies differ, they have more than one thing in common. In a flat-like setting that fluctuates with the trends, the founders of the famous Landes company, trained at the National Circus School of Montreal, tell their life as a couple with an unrivalled sense of aesthetics, costumes and atmospheres. Not counting the surprise effects, surreal scenes crossing reality and fiction, the technical prowess of virtuosic artists who defy the law of gravity. All in historical universes that merge into a joyful festive scene for a funny moment reflecting human relationships.
After their first two hits, La Nuit du cerf and Elephant Room, they reprised with Entre chiens et louves which flirts with poetry and vaudeville, mixes acrobatics on the floor and dancing in scenes with a cinematic atmosphere. Like a spectacular long travelling... until the final number!
