Exhibition: the Mimosa in Tanneron

Discover the local heritage, where the mimosa has an exceptional place.
The exhibition:
Educational panels explain the arrival of the mimosa in the Massif du Tanneron, its cultivation, botany and forcing techniques.

Discover the pioneers of this floral crop, six families
of Tanneron mimosa growers tell you their story.
A retrospective of the mimosa festival, organised every year
organised in Tanneron every year for the past few decades, highlights
this colourful event.

Other exhibitions will be held regularly.

Tools:
They tell the story of local agriculture,
from market gardening to beekeeping. You can
find out how to use an old honey extractor
and other utensils.

Activities:
This shared space also offers themed workshops around the mimosa during the winter season.
These activities enable visitors to discover different aspects of the exhibition theme.

Friday workshops at l'Oustaou are often organised on national theme days (Museum Night, European Heritage Days, etc).
