"Fernandel's Life Through His Films" traces his journey from his birth in 1903 to his death in 1971 while he was filming Don Camillo and the Protesters.
This show explores his world through the characters in his films and songs, while imagining connections with the great figures of Marcel Pagnol's cinema. While his father, Jules, bears a strong resemblance to Raimu, it is Don Camille who christens him. Topaze is his teacher at the local school, Ignace his comrade in the army, while the tattooed Raphaël steals his beloved. And it is ultimately Félicie who manages to seduce him. Directed by Miran.
