For this new edition, Olivier Vernet, the artistic director of the festival, has once again prepared an exceptional program.
The closeness to the audience and the intimacy of the church create a special connection with the artists.

Mougins will host leading artists who are committed to presenting original programs, skillfully built around the musical possibilities of our recently restored organ.
Program :
Sunday, September 21 – 6 PM
Trio Pêr-Vari Kervarec
The Trio Pêr-Vari Kervarec is more than just a musical ensemble: it is the bearer of a living memory, a bridge between history and the present, between the centuries-old stones of French churches and cathedrals and the souls of those who come to listen.
This unique trio blends bombarde, vocals, biniou, and organ, creating a singular dialogue between Breton tradition and the acoustics of sacred spaces. Each concert becomes an immersive experience where the music resonates with the architecture, heightening emotion and forging intergenerational connections.
Sunday, September 28 – 6 PM
Organ Recital by Virgile Monin
Born in Brittany in 1987, Virgile Monin studied at the Nantes Conservatory, particularly in Michel Bourcier’s organ class. A laureate of the International Organ Competition in Toulouse, he won first prizes at the Biarritz and Luxembourg competitions, as well as the Jean-Louis Florentz Grand Organ Prize, awarded by the Académie des Beaux-Arts, Institut de France.
A passionate advocate for the organ and its music, Virgile Monin regularly performs in recital both in France and abroad. His varied repertoire tends to favor the symphonic organ, for which he creates numerous transcriptions.
Sunday, October 5 – 6 PM
ATÒM: Loriane Llorca, organ / Valentin Laborde, electric hurdy-gurdy
ATÒM takes an experimental approach to exploring sonic textures. The medieval portative organ, grand organ, and electric hurdy-gurdy are all diverted from their traditional uses to create a musical environment focused on sound texture.
Between heaviness and weightlessness, aerial or rocky visions, and chiaroscuros inspired by ambient and noise music, their improvisations also consider the spatial occupation of sound masses. The sounds may strike the listener head-on or fragment across the space, where the organ and hurdy-gurdy immerse the audience in a fully enveloping experience.
Sunday, October 12 – 6 PM
BACH IN SWEDISH: Gunnar Idenstam, organ / Lisa Rydberg, violin
“Bach in Swedish” – a surprising and striking duo where Bach’s music meets Swedish folk in an organ and violin collaboration.
Gunnar Idenstam, concert organist, composer, and folk musician, is internationally acclaimed for his virtuosity, masterful improvisations, and original, unconventional approach to the organ repertoire. He aims to bring the organ to a broader audience and push the boundaries of the instrument.
Lisa Rydberg began playing the violin at the age of five and has been devoted to both folk and classical music ever since. Her studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm revealed her desire to blur the lines between musical genres. After a year of classical study, she gradually pursued a personalized curriculum and became the first student in Sweden to study a combined program of folk and classical music. She holds a degree in Baroque violin.
