Guillaume de Tonquédec studied at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique, he began in theater, before making a name for himself on television and in cinema. He became famous thanks to his role as Renaud Lepic in the hit series Fais pas ci, fais pas ça broadcast on France 2. In cinema, he appeared in several notable films, notably Le Prénom (2012), which earned him the César Award for Best Supporting Actor. This year he starred in the highly acclaimed comedy Mon jour de chance at the Théâtre Fontaine in Paris, before beginning a major tour throughout France in 2026.
