Access
- From La Garde-Freinet Tourisme head towards the exit of the village in the direction of Grimaud, after the Chapelle St-Eloi take the Chemin du Refren (behind the petrol station). After about 1.2 km, it joins the RD558. 50 metres before this junction, take a small path on the right of the big oak tree
towards the RD 558 (on the bend) and cross (with care!). Go up the tarmac road on the left signposted Val d'Aubert & Camp de la Suyère.
At 650 m the road forms a crow's foot, turn left towards Camp Vif / Ancienne Route de La Garde-Freinet. After 400 m on the left, at the oratory, go up the Notre Dame de Miremer path (about 900 m) to the Miremer chapel.
Magnificent panorama: the coast, the villages of Grimaud (castle), Cogolin, La Croix-Valmer, Gassin, Saint-Tropez, etc...
Go back down the hill of Miremer by the wide track on the left (back to the chapel). It winds for about 1.5 km up the hillside and takes you back to the edge of the RD 558. Before reaching the RD 558, take the path on the left (signpost). It runs along the RD 558 overhanging the road for 200 m, and ends 300 m further on next to the oratory of the Notre Dame de Miremer path. Turn right to take the return path in the opposite direction.
