Annie Sidro, from a line of carnival-makers since 1897; Michel Bozzano, former carnival-maker, passionate about research into the world of carnival; José Maria, manager of the Maria Nice Collections store, author of books on the Nice carnival.
In this "Year of the Sea" in Nice, the speakers will present many original and unpublished documents showing the link between the Nice carnival and this theme, since the creation of the Festival Committee in 1873. This audiovisual presentation will be accompanied by comments and anecdotes on the popular experience of carnival-goers and the people of Nice during the carnival.
