Conference led by Anne Joncheray, director of the Saint-Raphaël archaeological museum.
Roman ships crisscrossed the coastline with cargoes on board that would allow the hegemony of the Roman Empire. A way to conquer new territories, by marketing products from around the Mediterranean basin and thanks to advances in navigation. The wrecks bear witness to this submerged history, an underwater adventure, from dives to discoveries, from excavations to human adventure.
