A talk presented by Yannick JACQUOT-COCETTA, collections manager at the Palais de Carnolès.
Menton's Musée des Beaux-Arts boasts a major collection of Japanese prints, with almost 800 works. The greatest artists in this art form, which had such an impact on European artists from the second half of the 19th century onwards, are represented. The lecture will focus on Hokusai and Hiroshige, placing them in the context of the history of these creations from the land of the Rising Sun.
