Masterpieces on the program: Mozart, Schumann's too-rare quartet, and above all, the opportunity to hear in Nice the Quartet Op. 3 by the young Alban Berg, who marked the beginning of the 20th century, delivering a major work in twelve-tone writing imagined and taught by his master Arnold Schoenberg.
