For 50 years, the Nuits du Château de la Moutte have been bringing Saint-Tropez to life in the moonlight, between the courtyard, the palm grove and the Canebiers beach, with concerts of classical, baroque, jazz and world music. A magical rendezvous under the stars.

The international star of countertenors knows how to move as well as impress with his fascinating stage presence and exceptional voice. He proves this once again with Michal Biel, with whom he forms a duo with a worldwide career. Jakub Józef Orliński, countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński is a lyric artist whose fame has spread beyond the circle of classical singing enthusiasts. His critically acclaimed performances are sold out all over the world. Thanks to his masterful stage interpretations and top-quality recordings exclusively for Warner Classics/Erato, he has already left a lasting impression. His recording with pianist Michał Biel, entitled "Farewell", was crowned with the prestigious Opus Klassik award for Male Vocalist of the Year in 2023. With his next album, "Beyond", released in October 2023, Jakub conquered the world alongside the Il Pomo d'Oro ensemble. A true artist of his time, Jakub Orliński has many followers on social networks and has collaborated with major brands such as Netflix, Louis Vuitton and BMW. At the same time, he is also an award-winning breakdancer, having shone in several competitions. He has distinguished himself not only on major international stages, but also in the world of fashion, appearing on the covers of prestigious magazines such as Vogue Poland and Esquire. During the 2024/2025 season, Orliński continued his European tour with Il Pomo d'Oro, performing at the Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival, Basel's Peterskirche, London's Wigmore Hall, Ghent's NTGent Schouwburg and Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie. In 2025, he will take on the role of Ottone in Agrippina at the Opernhaus Zurich, and will perform oratorios such as Pergolesi's Stabat Mater at the Grand Théâtre de Genève and Handel's Deborah in Utrecht, Paris, Vienna and Bayreuth. Last September, he launched his new project, in collaboration with Aleksander Dębicz, entitled #LetsBaRock, at the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and at the Berliner Philharmoniker's Kammermusiksaal. This project will be presented in Paris on October 12, at L'Olympia, as part of the Les Grandes Voix series.


Michal Biel (Piano)
Pianist Michał Biel is a graduate of the Juilliard School in New York, where he studied with Brian Zeger, Margo Garrett, Jonathan Feldman and J.J. Penna. He also studied with Eytan Pessen at the Opera Academy of the Grand Theatre of the National Opera in Warsaw, and with Andrzej Jasiński and Grzegorz Biegas at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice.

Michał has performed in the world's most famous concert halls, such as London's Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam's Concertgebouw, Berlin's Philharmonie, Carnegie Hall and New York's Alice Tully Hall, as well as in recital on the stages of the most prestigious opera theaters, including Frankfurt Opera, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Opéra national du Rhin, Opéra national de Bordeaux, Opéra de Lille, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia and the Grand Theatre of the National Opera in Warsaw.
Michał is particularly known for the recordings of two albums: the first, "Farewells", with Jakub Józef Orliński, which was nominated for the Fryderyki Award in the Best Polish Album Abroad category, and the second, the "Kraina" album with soprano Alexandra Nowakowski, featuring songs by Polish composers.
