This deposit is known throughout the world as it revealed the oldest known habitations in human history. The museum presents the behaviour and way of life of the first inhabitants of Nice who located their huts on a beach and hunted elephant, rhinoceros and deer. The museum has been completely renovated for the 50th anniversary of the dig at the site. It now offers a modern museography including the latest discoveries and offering visitors a new interactive and fun visit.
