The Palais de l'Europe hosts on the ground floor an art gallery dedicated to contemporary creation that regularly offers exhibitions.
The gallery is located in the heart of the Palais de l'Europe, former Kursaal, which at its inauguration in 1909 was the largest casino on the French Riviera. The latter was designed by the Danish architect Hans-Georg Tersling. From 1951 to 1980, it hosted the famous Menton Biennales which, for 30 years, proposed a selection of promising artists alongside great masters, Dufy, Matisse, Braque, Picasso, Chagall, Dali, Delvaux, Rouault, Villon...
