From 4 to 6 June 2024, Nice will be hosting the One Ocean Science Congress, organised by CNRS and Ifremer just before the 3rd United Nations Conference on the Oceans.
The congress will bring together around 2,000 scientists to discuss the major challenges facing the oceans. It will focus on plenary lectures and parallel sessions covering the ten major themes of the UNOC31 , all with top-level researchers. The aim is to provide a solid scientific basis for the UNOC3 discussions, which will aim to advance negotiations on crucial issues such as plastic pollution and overfishing.
