Die Linde ist ein Baum in den gemäßigten Regionen Europas aus der Familie der Tiliaceae, der bis zu 30 Meter hoch werden und mehrere hundert Jahre alt werden kann.
Its foliage is deciduous and its flowering which is done in May-June is made up of particularly fragrant flowers regrouped in hanging bunches and very melliferous (which produce large quantities of nectar and pollen).
They contain traces of essential oil made up essentially of farnesol which has antispasmodic, calming, sudorific, antirheumatic and diuretic virtues.
