It's high time we paid tribute to one of the finest pianists in the region, and a living example of the "jazz attitude," Ronnie Rae Jr.
Born in 1963 in Edinburgh, Scotland, Ronnie is part of one of the greatest musical families in his native Scotland. He studied at the Royal Marine School of Music. He is always accompanied by his bandmates, Nico Gomez (Bjorg-Lisa Steinfield) on bass and Stu Richie on drums. His father, Ronnie Rae Sr., is one of the greatest double bass players in the United Kingdom, his stepmother Fiona Duncan, one of the greatest singers of so-called "traditional" jazz in the same Kingdom, and his brother John Rae, a top-level drummer.
