Come and take part in Guillaumes' traditional transhumance festival by following the herd!
Transhumance in Guillaumes celebrates the rising of the flocks. The public accompanies the flock of sheep to the village entrance, where the blessing and speeches by VIPs take place. The day continues with a Provencal aperitif, followed by a meal featuring local produce. Numerous events punctuate the day, including herding dog demonstrations, sheep shearing and gardian games, as well as activities for all ages, such as pony rides, horse shows, stilt walkers and the discovery of Provence donkeys.
