Within the Palais Carnolès, the Vegetable Garden of the Princes constitutes an escape space. It owes its name to the hundreds of vegetables from multiple varieties, sometimes forgotten or old, planted and staged to accompany citrus fruits and sculptures.
We are in the gardens of the Palais Carnolès dedicated to citrus fruits - there is a remarkable collection of oranges, lemons, grapefruits and other species of citrus fruit. Here you can see the beds planted with young vegetables and wherever you turn you can also see a sculpture. In one area there are raised beds protected with straw.
A short time ago Prince Albert of Monaco, who is very interested in the environment, accompanied by his future wife Charlène Wittstock, officially opened this "Vegetable Garden of the Princes".
