Game kit to be done independently all year long including 9 enigma courses (Vence, Tourrettes-sur-Loup, Coursegoules, Bouyon, Gilette, Le Broc, Carros, Gattières and Saint-Jeannet) and a sound investigation.
Viz'it - Les Mystères des Baous is a game of investigation on the hiking itinerary of the "Grand parcours des Baous", highlighting the heritage of each of the 9 villages it passes through. It is a fun and innovative educational tool aimed at a very wide audience. This survey creates a link and a thread between the villages. It is materialized by the creation and sale of a game kit.
The game kit consists of a bag designed locally and by hand, containing a game book with 9 village surveys, the maps of each village, a cryptic object and a pen. The game kit is made with recycled or organic products sourced from small local businesses.
Each step is part of an overall story but can be completed independently of the others. The participant can choose to complete the game in full or in part, at once (over the 5 days of the trek) or spread out over time, village after village.
The encrypted object integrated in the game kit is the key to the investigation allowing access to the next stage of the game, the sound investigation. At the end of the field surveys through the villages, the encrypted object reveals a code giving access to a sound survey on the 123cat.net website. This sound investigation is composed of different recordings of local actors of each village (shepherd, craftsman, shopkeeper, elected officials...) who agreed to take part in the game and lend their voice to the plot... 9 villages, so 9 suspects, so 9 sound tracks. Through these recordings, we are part of a process of safeguarding the living heritage by collecting testimonies from the oral tradition, a fragile heritage and cultural legacy. The sound survey is also available for sale online independently of the purchase of the game kit. The main goal is to allow disabled people to access a fun, qualitative and instructive investigation game in a sound form.
