One of Europe’s most keenly anticipated events returns for its 31st edition! The Antibes International Sacred Art Festival, French Riviera, France will take place from 10-25 September 2022.

You are invited to embark on an extraordinary journey combining heritage, sacred and classical music.

A mesmerising musical journey through Antibes’ heritage


Antibes International Sacred Art Festival showcases all aspects of the town’s rich heritage, revealing the most beautiful facets of the sacred and classical music repertoire, with major orchestral concerts.

The most prestigious ensembles and solo acts will captivate audiences thanks to the acoustics of churches, cathedrals and chapels in Antibes Juan-les-Pins and Vallauris Golfe-Juan.

In Antibes, the Immaculate Conception cathedral and Saint-Bernardin, Saint-Jean and la Garoupe chapel in Cap d’Antibes, will throw open their doors to this mellifluous voyage.

In Vallauris Golfe-Juan meanwhile, concerts will be held at Sainte-Anne, Saint-Martin de Vallauris and Saint-Pierre de Golfe-Juan churches.

“MUSICAL HERITAGE MOMENTS”

Since the 30th anniversary of the Antibes International Sacred Art Festival, a new initiative by flutist Philippe DEPETRIS, has enchanted fans of intimate musical art. The “Musical Heritage Moments” combine a tour of emblematic heritage sites in Antibes, whose history is recounted by a guide, with intimate musical interludes, for a privileged audience.


A LINE-UP OF MASTERPIECES!

One day, one venue, one venue, one programme


Flute, violon, trumpet, horn, harp, piano, harpsichord… the sounds of the instruments, ensembles and voices will whisk you away on a discovery of world cultures throughout the entire festival.

The Italian orchestra Nuova Cameristica from Milan will kick off the festival on 10 September, with Vivaldi’s celebrated works.

The symphony will continue with brass quintet, Magnifica, guitarist Thibault Cauvin and the Cannes Provence Alpes-Côte d’Azur National Orchestra.

The scores of the most important masterpieces of the repertoire, including Salve Regina and Gloria by Vivaldi, Mozart and Fauré’s Requiems and Jean-Sébastien Bach’s Chaconne, will resound in your hearts.
