THE PREPARATION CENTRE FOR THE 2024 GAMES:
Saint-Laurent-du-Var

The town of Saint-Laurent-du-Var is a land of sporting culture, developing accessibility to sport for all, promoting health and well-being practices, and with a very strong associative fabric that represents nearly one third of its population.

Aware of the positive impact of sport on our everyday lives, Saint-Laurent-du-Var is among the first 500 collectivities with the “Terre de Jeux” [Sports Ground] label, and is referenced as a Preparation Centre for the Games thanks to the Hervé Allari Dojo. 2024 is a real opportunity to include sport in our everyday lives, and to develop activity offers in line with our time and our region.

The town also has a large number of free practitioners and because of this it has developed its own mobile app allowing each inhabitant of Saint Laurent to practice a physical activity when they want, how they want and where they want.

AN IDEAL LOCATION

Located in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, just a few minutes from the sea and Nice-Côte d’Azur airport, the Hervé Allari Dojo comprises a main hall measuring 485 m² and a 100 m² training room.

In the calm, yet close to the town centre and the amenities, you have the benefit of a meeting room, a massage room, a hammam, 3 changing rooms and a weights room.

A MODERN AREA DEDICATED TO THE HIGHEST LEVELS

With a 585 m² modular hall, the Hervé Allari dojo is able to meet every need. It also houses an 8-person hammam, enhancing the user and competitor experience. Other offers such as cold baths or cryotherapy can be offered to the teams.

The site produces its own electricity and hot water thanks to the solar panels installed when it was created. Wooden architecture offers a zen atmosphere and meets environmental standards.

AN ESTABLISHMENT FULL OF HISTORY

The Allari Dojo is home to the Laurentin Judo Stadium, a veritable Judo institution in France, and to several executive training events and grading examinations.

A vast number of departmental and regional competitions are also organized, allowing over 25,000 users to be welcomed every year.

The H. Allari Dojo has had the honour of welcoming David Douillet, then Minister for Sport, as well as Teddy Riner, the famous Champigny club and the French Women’s Wrestling Team.

The aim of the Pugets dojo is to be a “positive energy building”. In meeting the High Quality Environmental (HQE) aims fixed by the Grenelle Environment forum and the AGIR charter for energy, the dojo has a wooden structure and facilities intended to reduce energy demand. The dojo is positioning itself as an exemplary building because of its environmental impact.
