Boasting over 6,000 registered members of amateur and sporting associations,Villeneuve-Loubet is a very active town thanks to its sporting infrastructures spread between land and sea… Indoor sports and outdoor activities, natural parks, children’s play areas, and nature-based activities reveal all the destination’s assets. Having obtained the Site Natura 2000 and Villes et Villages Fleuris [Towns and Villages in Flower] labels, nature is an integral part of Villeneuve-Loubet’s identity.

There is a centre for weightlifting, an Olympic discipline combining strength, flexibility and dynamism, with a friendly atmosphere and offering several courses.

Lastly, the beaches of Villeneuve-Loubet are conducive to practicing nautical activities and allow for organizing the Aquathlon, the Côte d’Azur SwimRun after the summer break, and also for offering its seaside to the Half Ekiden 06, etc.

The sporting infrastructures are continually updated so as to always be of the highest quality. The investment by Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Thierry Ascione into tennis lessons at the Vanade Tennis Club’s All in Academy are proof of this. Villeneuve-Loubet is also positioning itself as a staging town for the Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes Marathon, and by celebrating cycling during the Outdoor Festival 06. The Villeneuve-Loubet Tourist Information Centre has been awarded the national Acceuil Vélo [Bikes Welcome] label through its offer of quality services to bicycle tourists and leisure cyclists. The infrastructures in the region bear witness to their commitment, such as the 20 km of cycle paths.
