PAYS DES PAILLONS

WHY CHOOSE THE PAYS DES PAILLONS

FOR YOUR SPRING GETAWAY?

Peillon, an escape between nature and history!

Hike the Circuit de Lourquière (2h/2h30) and immerse yourself in a setting worthy of Cézanne: cobbled streets, ancient arches, centuries-old olive and cypress trees. Breathe in the authenticity and let yourself be seduced by the unspoilt soul of this perched village.

From Peillon-village, the Circuit de Lourquière climbs through the Galembert valley, between olive groves and cypress trees. It follows an ancient Roman road offering splendid views of Nice and the sea. After passing through Saint-Martin de Peille, the trail skirts the cliffs of the pointe de Lourquière before descending to the village and its medieval streets.
