Biot J’adore Noël: the festivities kick off

Sunday 1 December from 5pm – Biot Village

Get ready for the magic of Christmas in Biot on 1 December:

Christmas concert in the church of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine at 5pm, a serene musical moment to kick off the festivities.
Launch of the illuminations: the village lights up in a magical atmosphere from 6pm. Take a magical stroll through the narrow streets and squares, transformed into a jewel box of light.
Les Volets de Noël: As the first part of this giant Advent calendar opens, discover the creations of children from Biot schools, the Espace des Arts et de la Culture and the IME les Hirondelles.
The glass of friendship: share a convivial moment over a glass of champagne offered by the town, while enjoying a warm musical atmosphere.

Biot’s big Christmas market: crafts and delicacies

A highlight of the magic of Christmas, the market is back from Friday 19 to 30 December 2025. With around thirty chalets and wooden structures, you’ll be immersed in a real Christmas atmosphere as you stock up on gifts from the craftspeople on hand (candles, decorative items, fashion accessories, jewellery…) and treat your taste buds to local specialities (chestnuts and mulled wine, honey, biscuits, beer…). There’ll be plenty of entertainment to keep you entertained at this huge Christmas market, which you can discover in this programme…

Festive opening on 19 December:

6 p.m.: opening of the Christmas market
6.30pm: Opening cocktail reception – place de Gaulle. Mulled wine and roasted chestnuts provided by the Amicale biotoise des traditions. Champagne soup, comfort drinks and mignardises offered by the Town of Biot.
7pm: Concert by the Biot Brass Band – Place de Gaulle. To the sound of over forty musicians, the village will come alive and light up to celebrate the opening of the market.

Market opening times :

Opening on Friday 19 December at 6 p.m.: stalls open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday 19 to Tuesday 30 December (except 25 December): stalls open from 11am to 7pm
Wednesday 24 December: stalls open from 11am to 4pm

The Shutters of Christmas: an open-air art exhibition

From 1ᵉʳ to 24 December – Biot Village

Every day in December, the village of Biot awakens under the magic of the Christmas Shutters, transforming its alleyways into a huge Advent calendar. Created by local schoolchildren, pupils from the Espace des Arts et de la Culture and youngsters from the IME les Hirondelles, the shutters unveil unique, colourful creations.

Each day’s opening brings a new surprise, offering an open-air art exhibition. This tradition delights visitors and residents alike, showcasing the creativity of our youngest visitors in a warm and magical setting. It’s the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit in Biot.
