Christmas in La Colle-sur-Loup: Merrymaking, Events and Christmas Market not to be missed

Christmas 2024 is fast approaching, and La Colle-sur-Loup is gearing up for a month of festivities for the whole family! Illuminations, craft markets, children’s shows and creative activities: the magic of Christmas will come to life in every corner of this charming village. Let yourself be swept away by a warm, festive atmosphere that will delight young and old alike.

Join us on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 6pm on the Place de Gaulle for an enchanting moment!

Jugglers, stilt-walkers and acrobats will amaze you with spectacular circus performances.

Join in the magical countdown to light up the town, and enjoy the songs sung by the Lanza school choir.

To complete this magical moment, the municipality will be offering mulled wine and hot chocolate to all participants. A not-to-be-missed evening in the Christmas spirit!

An authentic, festive Christmas market

On Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the village center will be transformed into a veritable Christmas paradise with the big Christmas market.

Stroll among the stalls selling crafts, local produce and unique gift ideas. The streets will come alive with musical strolls, a concert by the group Endless, and creative workshops for the whole family.

Children will be treated to magical moments with a photobooth, face-painting workshops and a fairytale entitled “Stella’s Magical Christmas”.

And let’s not forget the eagerly awaited presence of Santa Claus!

Workshops to immerse you in the magic of Christmas

On Wednesdays, December 11 and 18, 2024, the Place de Gaulle will become the meeting place for little creators with the Christmas Elves workshops.

On the program: an introduction to the circus arts, festive crafts for the whole family and intergenerational writing games (reservation required).

Santa Claus will also be on hand for unforgettable encounters from 11am to 12pm and from 3pm to 4pm. These workshops are the ideal opportunity to share moments of complicity and creativity while immersing yourself in the festive atmosphere.

Shows and music to round off the festivities

On Sunday December 15, 2024, the E. Fer gymnasium will host the enchanting show “Magic Circus ou la piste aux étoiles” by the Riviera Artist company.

A photo session with Santa Claus and a tea party will round off this magical afternoon.

Finally, the festivities will conclude in style with an exceptional Christmas concert on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the church of St Jacques le Majeur. The Nice Philharmonic Choir will perform masterpieces such as Puccini’s Messa di Gloria and Rutter’s Magnificat, for an unforgettable musical evening.
