Mougins: Santa's House & other festivities until January 5

Ho, ho, ho… Good news, the magic of Christmas is settling in Mougins from December 1 to January 5 with several events: the launch of the festivities with fireworks, Saint Nicolas, a log contest and, of course, the traditional Christmas market on December 13, 14 & 15… Not forgetting Santa’s House with its new decor, the little Christmas train, the ice rink, concerts and lots more surprises! In the village, in the heart of Mougins and in every neighborhood.

RENDEZ-VOUS IN THE OLD VILLAGE

Sunday December 1st

Launch of the festivities & opening of Santa’s house – Old village from 4pm – 7.30pm.
On the program: Christmas tea party, opening of Santa’s House in the Bread Oven with its new decor.

Friday December 6th

Saint-Nicolas – Old village from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
Program: schoolchildren sing, snow cannons, photos with Saint-Nicolas and Père Fouettard, opening of the Christmas crib at the Lavoir, Christmas buffet….

Friday, December 20th

13 Christmas desserts evening – Place des Patriotes from 6pm.
On the program: 13 desserts buffet and Gospel concert.

Santa’s House

For the third year running, Santa Claus is settling in Mougins for the holidays! From December 1, come and visit his newly-decorated house in the heart of the village, in the old Four à Pain bakery.

The Christmas crib

Every year, Mougins’ technical services teams take over our beautiful covered wash-house at the entrance to the village, to create a magical crib. Over the years, the nativity scene has grown in size and now covers almost the entire space, with a number of decorations filled with santons!

RENDEZ-VOUS IN THE HEART OF MOUGINS

Saturday December 7th

Amateur competition for the best Yule log / Children’s pastry workshop – Cours des Arts, 2pm to 5pm.
Come and share your Christmas log recipe with our jury of elected officials, professionals and Mougin residents. The three best amateur pastry chefs will win great prizes donated by the town and its merchants, as well as publication of their recipe in the municipal magazine. Children will also be able to learn how to make logs, pastries and chocolates in workshops.

Saturday, December 21st

Big Christmas show ” La lettre de Nemo ” by the Princess of Christmas and her friends, who will inaugurate the ” Mougins express de Noël ” little train and the skating rink in the heart of Mougins from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

During all school vacations, take advantage of the free skating rink and the Christmas train for €2 in the heart of Mougins – Every day: 10am-7pm.
December 25 and January 1: 2pm-7pm.

THE CHRISTMAS MARKET

Join us on Friday, December 13th, from 5pm to 8pm for the opening of the Christmas Market with its exhibitors and gourmet square, and don’t miss the Gospel concert from 6pm to 7:30pm!

On Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th, from 10am to 7pm, the village will come alive with some 50 exhibitors offering gourmet products and gift ideas, creative workshops for children, photos with Santa Claus, entertainment, festive strolls, and the discovery of Santa’s crib and house.
