Christmas in Saint-Raphaël

SAINT-RAPHAËL WILL SHINE BRIGHTLY FOR CHRISTMAS 2025!

From 6 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, Christmas in Saint-Raphaël will set the town alight with a full month ofentertainment, including fireworks, a monumental Christmas tree, a Provencal nativity scene, a basilica illuminated with lights, festive parades, a Christmas market and gourmet stalls.

From 6 December 2025, Saint-Raphaël will be lit up to celebrate the festive season and invite residents and visitors alike to share in the magic of Christmas with the whole family, from the town centre to the seaside.

Launch of the festivities, parades and fireworks

SEE YOU ON 6 DECEMBER 2025

On Saturday 6 December 2025, starting at 5.30pm, the festive season gets underway at the Centre Culturel with the announcement of the results of the drawing competition for the young Raphaëlois, followed at 6pm by a festive parade accompanied by some sixtycostumed artists and live musicians to the Basilica of Notre-Dame-de-la-Victoire, where a sound and light show will set the scene, then on to the Jardin Bonaparte for the launch of the illuminations and a spectacular fireworks display.

On Tuesday 23 December 2025 at 6pm , Father Christmas arrives on his sleigh from the Beau Rivage car park, followed by the Toy Parade, before a fireworks display at 7pm to celebrate his arrival. On Wednesday 31 December 2025 at 6.30pm, head to the Jardin Bonaparte to welcome 2026 with an evening of music hosted by a DJ and fireworks at 7.30pm, ideal for celebrating New Year’s Eve with family and friends.

Jardin des Lumières, illuminated basilica and Provencal nativity scene

Throughout the festive season, the Jardin Bonaparte will be transformed into the Jardin des Lumières, adorned with sparkling illuminations for a magical Christmas experience, open from 6 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 from 9am to 9pm. The Basilica of Notre-Dame-de-la-Victoire unveils its “tableaux de lumières” from 7 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, every evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, for a poetic show highlighting its architecture and immersing the public in the spirit of Christmas.

The Centre Culturel’s Provençal cot, inaugurated on 11 December 2025 at 7pm, takes visitors on a journey to the heart of Christmas traditions, with a meticulously detailed display of Christmas crib figures, while the town itself is adorned with symbols of light: the giant fir tree in front of the Tourist Office, the fir tree in Place Victor Hugo decorated with the CCAS activity areas on 6 December 2025 from 2pm to 5pm, and the illumination of the “pointus” in the Vieux Port celebrating Saint-Raphaël’s maritime heritage.

Christmas market, Place de Noël and gourmet chalets

The Saint-Raphaël Christmas market is set up on the Promenade des Bains, with its chalets selling gourmet specialities and craft gift ideas: open from 10.30am to 7pm outside school holidays, from 10.30am to 8pm during school holidays, late-night opening on Fridays and Saturdays until 9pm and during special events, and exceptional opening on 25 December and 1 January at 2.30pm. Musical entertainment is provided every Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 9pm, and on Sundays from 2pm to 5pm.

On the Place Coullet, the Place de Noël is home to merry-go-rounds for children up to 10 years old, surrounded by sweet and savoury chalets, with extended opening times on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and during the school holidays, while at the foot of the Ferris wheel, the Grand chalet gourmand on the Esplanade Delayen offers a wide selection of sweet and savoury dishes from 2pm to 10pm outside the school holidays and from 2pm to midnight during the school holidays.
