Villeneuve-Loubet’s Christmas markets set the pace for the month of December: on Sunday 14 December 2025 from 10am to 6pm, the Christmas market takes over the heart of the village and the Bugadières car park, with more than 30 exhibitors and charities (gift items and ideas, local producers, craftwork, goodies, clothing, etc.), food stalls, takeaway sales, Christmas menus in restaurants, merry-go-round, inflatable structures, pony rides and musical entertainment.

By the sea, on Sunday 21 December 2025 from 10am to 5pm, the Port Marina Baie des Anges Christmas Market will feature a craft market with over 20 stalls, musical entertainment, a Christmas choir, free admission and free parking.

These events are all part of the “Marina en Fête” programme running from 19 to 21 December 2025: on Friday 19 from 5pm to 9pm, the Christmas tree will be lit, the mayor will give a speech, the Christmas choir will perform, and there will be an open stage, mulled wine and snacks. On Saturday 20, there will be free stalls for children, including a photo with Father Christmas, pony rides, an entertainment stall, magic tricks, a letter to Father Christmas, a face painting stall, a snack at 4.30pm and gifts for all the children, before Sunday 21, which combines the Grand Bain de Noël and the Christmas market.

Advent tea parties, Christmas shows and Provencal traditions

Families can look forward to Advent tea parties from 4.30 to 5.30 pm on Place de la République on 8, 9, 11, 15, 16, 18 and 19 December 2025, with a closing party on Friday 19 December featuring Father Christmas, an ugly Christmas jumper competition, snacks for children and mulled wine for parents from the elves of the Comité des Fêtes and the Tourist Office.

At the Pôle Culturel Auguste Escoffier, the programme of Christmas shows for children includes “La fille du Père Noël” (Santa’s Daughter ) on Tuesday 23 December 2025 starting at 3pm (45 minutes, single ticket price €5), and “Igor et Lilas, c’est trop !!!” on Tuesday 30 December 2025 starting at 3pm (45 minutes, single ticket price €5 ). On Monday 22 December 2025 at 6pm (duration 1h30), the Christmas Lantern Walk in the Côte d’Azur village invites you to discover the history of the village in days gone by and the Christmas traditions of the Côte d’Azur, with tastings, at a single price of €10 for children aged 6 and over, by reservation on 04 92 02 66 16.

Christmas bath and visit to the medieval fortress

A long-standing tradition on the Côte d’Azur

The Bain de Noël in Villeneuve-Loubet takes place on Sunday 21 December 2025 on the Fighière beach: a bath with Father Christmas, a demonstration by the SNSM (French national lifeboat service), free snacks and music, in the pure tradition of Côte d’Azur Christmas baths.

To extend the experience, a visit to the medieval fortress will take you on a real journey back in time, from the Middle Ages to the present day, with commentary tailored to children, old-fashioned games, a ceremony to crown the princesses and knights and a final surprise, during 1h30 sessions on Wednesdays 22 and 29 October 2025 and Monday 22 December 2025 from 10am (single ticket price €8, bookings on 04 92 02 66 16 or online).
