Every day at 11:55 am sharp in Monaco – Place du Palais!

Since their creation in 1817, the mission of the Carabiniers du Prince is to guard the palace and ensure the safety of His Serene Highness the Sovereign Prince and the royal family. During your visit to Monaco, Don’t miss the ceremonial changing of the guard in front of the Prince’s Palace! Every day, at 11:55, when the clock rings, dressed in black in winter and white in summer, Carabiniers make their show! As in any monarchy, succession is a solemn, military ritual, where coordination is required. This seven-minute daily ballet attracts a lot of spectators from all over the world, so be sure to come in advance to be in front row seats!

Since 1959, the palace in Monaco has opened its doors in July and August for a series of classical music concerts performed by the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. The greatest works of Strauss, Mozart and Beethoven are performed. The concerts take place in the Cour d’Honneur at the Palace and have become a must for music lovers from all over the world.
