VISIT THE CHÂTEAU DE LA NAPOULE AND ITS GARDENS
Emerging from the sea with its magnificent red stone and towers – not to be missed!
The Château de La Napoule occupies a prestigious site on the seafront, known to the Romans more than 2,000 years ago. It was restored in the 1920s by the American artist Henry Clews. Although he devoted himself to the architecture of the chateau and the artistic works on display in the chateau museum, his wife was the architect of the gardens. They include water features and topiary. This historic monument is a fascinating glimpse of the history of architecture. In summer, enjoy the tea room on the terrace overlooking the sea.
