Works of art that have become legendary in the heart of the town
From the roads along the beaches to the narrow streets of Old Antibes, large-scale works of art are created every year by leading artists on the Côte d’Azur street art scene.
Since 2020, a host of artists from France, Italy, Belgium, Moldavia, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Chile have taken part. Among them, French artist Zdey created one of the largest surfaces at 307 m².
Involved in various charitable initiatives, the artist has already coloured the walls of schools in Colombia and Mexico with the help of local indigenous minorities. His world blends influences from pop, modern art and the OP art movement.
You can see his work, full of positive energy, at the Châtaigniers roundabout at the entrance to the city centre, “the funkiest roundabout on the Côte”, according to Zdey.
