The best Instagram spots in Cannes

Seaside, islands, relief and heritage. These are the four things that make Cannes a photographer’s delight. Every photographer has his or her own habits and preferences, but there are some must-sees that you just can’t miss! Here are the best photo spots in Cannes suggested by Max Mon Sport 06. Don’t wait any longer, follow the #CotedAzurFrance guide!

INSTAGRAM SPOT N°1: THE LÉRINS ISLANDS

Immediate boarding from the Port of Cannes…

These islands, located off the coast of Cannes, deserve their own article. Saint-Honorat and its monastery, its charm and timeless atmosphere, and the larger Sainte-Marguerite, with its pine forest, beaches and cliffs, with turquoise waters in between.
A delight for lovers of beautiful landscapes and photography, whatever the season or time of day.
Tip: don’t miss the view from the top of the Fort de Saint-Honorat! The views are sublime!

INSTAGRAM SPOT NO. 2: POINTE CROISETTE

Head for the Palm Beach!

Located at the eastern end of the famous Croisette, the Pointe Croisette, or Palm Beach peninsula, is ideal for its dual orientation: you can start the day with a sunrise on the Mouré Rouge beach and finish it on the western side where you’ll find my favourite spot for Cannes sunsets: the old Pointe Croisette port. Its boats and the view over Cannes and theEsterel provide the perfect backdrop…

INSTAGRAM SPOT NO. 3: LA CROISETTE

The Croisette is a must when it comes to Instagram spots in Cannes!

Probably the best-known spot in Cannes, the Croisette is also a must for photographers. The beach, which has been resurfaced in 2019, is truly superb, and the hotel façades, sunsets, blue chairs and red steps of the Palais des Festivals make for great shots.

Tip: early risers can enjoy the sights almost on their own!

INSTAGRAM SPOT N°4: LE SUQUET

Head to the Suquet district to appreciate the authentic charm of Cannes!

With its narrow streets full of flowers and panoramic views over the town and the sea, the Suquet district is truly the heart of Cannes, offering superb views over the town and the Bay of Cannes at all times of the day.

Tip: after climbing to the top, don’t hesitate to climb to the top of the tower of the Musée des explorations du Monde to admire the view!

INSTAGRAM SPOT N°5: CALIFORNIA

This area in the hills above Cannes offers superb views over the town and its bay. Choose the mornings for the best light over the town, or the end of the day for the sunsets.

Tip: The Canal de la Siagne path is also a great place to take a stroll, and there are some great photos to be taken. A little higher up, the Parc de la Croix des Gardes offers breathtaking views over Cannes, the islands and theEstérel massif.

INSTAGRAM SPOT N°6: BOULEVARD DU MIDI LOUISE MOREAU

Located just west of Le Suquet, the Boulevard du Midi leads to Cannes la Bocca and then Mandelieu-La-Napoule. It runs alongside the sea, and both its beaches and the view of theEsterel massif offer superb photo opportunities.

Tip: go as far as the Red Rocks, a 1km walk from Le Suquet, and you won’t be disappointed… The sunsets there are sublime!
