FÊTE DU CITRON® 2025: CITRUS ZEST ALL OVER TOWN

2025 theme: “Journey(s) to the stars

Citrus compositions on the theme of“Voyage(s) into the stars” await you in the Jardins Biovès, accompanied by numerous events throughout the city. Numerous activities, excursions and guided tours are also organized to enable everyone to discover the Lemon Festival. Don’t miss the Heritage Department’s open-air exhibition on the rich history of the Menton lemon. The exhibition of great citrus motifs in the Jardins Biovès will be free and open to the public!

What’s more, local producers will be present all over town: a great opportunity to fill your baskets with vitamins and chat at their stands about their passion for the Fruit d’Or.

Extend your stroll through the shopping streets, where the Menton Sourire association has organized a shop-window competition, and finish on the Francis-Palmero esplanade. Here you’ll find all the specialties of Menton: jams, olive oil, lemon oil, limoncello, fougasse mentonnaise, and much more.

Just like grown-ups, children can discover citrus fruit in a whole new way.

The lemon floats are sure to make little ones’ eyes sparkle! When the weather’s fine, lemons are magnified and the beauty of the product is revealed.

During the 15 days, the city is alive with corsos, parades in the center, night corsos, exhibitions, etc., representing different Olympic disciplines.

You can also meet the producers and taste the many varieties of the product. Like its cousin, the Carnaval de Nice, the Fête du Citron® de Menton is a unique event in the world, celebrating the local citrus fruit every year: the Menton lemon.

It’s a colorful evening, to the delight of young and old alike!
