FÊTE DU CITRON® 2025: A ZEST OF CITRUS ALL OVER THE CITY

2025 theme: “Journey(s) to the stars

Citrus fruit arrangements on the theme of“Journey(s) to the stars” await you in the Biovès Gardens, accompanied by a host of events throughout the city. Numerous activities, excursions and guided tours are also being organised to help you discover the Lemon Festival. Don’t miss the open-air exhibition on the rich history of the Menton lemon, organised by the Heritage Department. The exhibition of large citrus fruit motifs in the Jardins Biovès will be free to enter!

What’s more, local producers will be on hand all over the town, giving you a great opportunity to fill your baskets with vitamins and chat at their stands about their passion for the Golden Fruit.

Extend your stroll through the shopping streets, where the Menton Sourire association has organised a shop-window competition, and finish on the Francis-Palmero esplanade. Here you’ll find all the specialities of Menton: jams, olive oil, lemon oil, limoncello, fougasse mentonnaise, and much more.

DURING THE DAY OR IN THE EVENING, TAKE PART IN THE
LEMON FESTIVAL®!

Just like grown-ups, children can discover citrus fruits in a whole new way.

The lemon floats are sure to make little ones’ eyes sparkle! When the weather is fine, the lemon is magnified and the beauty of the product is revealed.

During the 15 days, the city is alive with corsos, parades in the centre, night corsos, exhibitions, etc., representing different Olympic disciplines.

You can also meet the producers and taste the many varieties of the product. Like its cousin, the Nice Carnival, the Fête du Citron® de Menton is a unique event in the world, celebrating the local citrus fruit every year: the Menton lemon.

It’s a colourful evening, to the delight of young and old alike!
