Pierre Altobelli ran the star-studded ovens of France’s greatest chefs before earning his macaron in the famous red guide in Osaka. His love of his Nice roots took over when his mother, who ran the restaurant set up by his grandmother Davia, decided to stop. There was no way he was going to let this family history disappear! Back to his roots for this prodigious son, who delivers, with talent and simplicity, an exquisite menu with Liguro-Nicois accents: marinated anchovies, ratatouille and its perfect egg, stockfish, Niçois farcis (with lamb shoulder and sweetbreads, please!), barbajuans… Everything is perfectly mastered in this Nicois restaurant! And what about the desserts, like the Menton lemon tart or the chard pie!
