In Mougins, the “Les Étoiles de Mougins” International Gastronomy Festival will be a stew of good humour and flavour!

Right in the heart of the medieval village, over 120 chefs, MOFs and guests will be on hand to offer culinary demonstrations and workshops, competitions, conferences and more.

A gourmet event not to be missed, where you can meet the world’s greatest chefs and share their recipes, secrets and passion.

16 YEARS OF FESTIVALS WITH A UNIQUE CÔTE D’AZUR FLAVOUR

In 2006, Paul Bocuse, Gaston Lenôtre, Alain Ducasse, Michel Guérard and Pierre Troisgros launched the first edition of the festival, paying tribute to Roger Vergé, the illustrious 5-star chef of the Moulin de Mougins and his legendary Cuisine du Soleil.

Over the last 15 years, some of the biggest names in national and international gastronomy have sponsored and taken turns at the pianos in the demonstration and tasting areas…

An event labelled “Year of Gastronomy

The “Les Étoiles de Mougins” International Gastronomy Festival has been awarded the “Year of Gastronomy” label for 2021.

The launch of this label by the State and the CCI aims to support initiatives to promote gastronomy throughout France. As part of the 3ᵉ strand of the “Year of Gastronomy” operation and the FRANCE RELANCE plan, 96 projects have been selected, 76 of which are being subsidised.

This is the case for Les Étoiles de Mougins, which was selected by a committee chaired by Guillaume Gomez, the former Head Chef at the Élysée Palace and the French President’s personal representative to the Gastronomy and Food Actors and Networks.

LES ÉTOILES DE MOUGINS: THE MEETING PLACE FOR TOP CHEFS!

Up to 25,000 people turn out every year for these exceptional gastronomic weekends.

Sébastien Zozaya, Thomas Subrin, Christian Segui, Benoît Nicolas, Yannick Franques, Didier Anies, Gianni D’amato, Redouane Mansouri, Jacques Decoret, Fabrice Desvignes, Eric Biffard, etc… have all been there! Hundreds of chefs, creators of taste and emotion, faithfully contributed to the gourmet show.

A WHOLE HOST OF EVENTS

A weekend of festivities, like a gourmet beverage, where the entire gastronomy profession comes to recharge its batteries.

At the Étoiles de Mougins, you’ll be able to take part in workshops and cookery classes for adults and children, exhibitions and conferences packed with unusual encounters, farmers’ markets, TV entertainment, as well as demonstrations with “show cooking” presented by the greatest French and foreign chefs,public breakfasts, brunches for chefs, tastings in the village’s restaurants, snacks for gourmets, themed evenings, all listed in the “Étoiles de Mougins Journal”.

There will also be a “conferences” area, where you can find out more about fascinating themes such as “French patisserie, a unique art form”, “The excellence of French gastronomy around the world”, “Les Meilleurs Ouvriers de France” and “Les Français, fous de chocolat”…
