Focus on Outdoor Festival 06

The first Festival dedicated to outdoor activities took place frome April 29 to May 1, 2022 on the Côte d’Azur. On land, at sea or in the air, whatever your age and level, for 3 days on the Côte d’Azur you were able to (re)discover around a hundred sporting activities and disciplines for free. Everything you need to know about this 1st edition of the Festival Outdoor 06!

A packed programme with a wealth of opportunities to discover the many facets of the Alpes-Maritimes

The three-day festival is entirely free and open to people of all ages and abilities, from seasoned athletes to families, active seniors and visitors. An ideal setting in which to discover and try out an array of open-air activities on land, on sea, and in the air. With 150,000 people expected to take part, the programme features a wide variety of more than 60 outdoor sports and 300 formats, backed by outstanding support from local communities, associations, clubs, volunteers and athletes.

Outdoor Events & Competitions: 3 days of events on the Côte d’Azur!

Screenings, exhibitions, shows, sports competitions…

The Outdoor Festival 06 concept comprises:

– Pursuits that put the experience before the performance. This festival is for people of all levels, with categories ranging from kids, family and well-being to discovery, intense and extreme. Sunset kayak outings, canyoning in Les Gorges du Loup, and a two-day ski tour straddling the Italian border with ultrarunner and adventurer Germain Grangier are just some of the highlights in store (“Outdoor Experience”).

– Cultural events that celebrate our rich heritage of outdoor sports, complete with screenings, conferences, exhibitions, workshops, shows and more (“Outdoor Event”).

– Competitions and races throughout the festival, in which elite athletes rub shoulders with amateurs at the Col de Vence uphill footrace, the Cannes International triathlon, the Saint Vallier challenge for runners, cyclists and horse riders, and the Azur Festi’Slack slackline festival (“Outdoor Competition”).

Come and share the outdoor sports experience on the Côte d’Azur!

Cannes will host the Festival Outdoor 06 village on the famous La Croisette promenade, near Bijou beach in Cannes, providing a relaxed, inclusive environment in which to try products, enjoy events, listen to conferences and watch open-air screenings, along with a trade fair featuring some 50 exhibitors (“Outdoor Camp”).
