As the starting point for the 11th edition of the Riviera Electric Challenge 2025, Cagnes-sur-Mer reaffirms its role as a hub for innovation and ecological transition on the French Riviera.
11th edition of the Riviera Electric Challenge 2025 Hosting this international event, bringing together France, Monaco and Italy around electric mobility, is part of a local dynamic recognised by the ‘Sustainable Territory, a Cop ahead’ label.
This distinction attests to an ambitious, cross-cutting and collective policy in the service of sustainable development.
With its controlled growth, Cagnes-sur-Mer combines urban vitality with environmental preservation.
Structural developments prioritise diversity and quality of life, in line with new climate challenges:
increased greening of public spaces, innovative eco-neighbourhoods integrating housing, services, biodiversity and renewable energies, as well as responsible water management through the protection of the La Cagne river.
The city is also working alongside residents and economic stakeholders to encourage new practices: soft mobility, energy renovation, zero waste, raising awareness of air quality and promoting cycling.
