Amadeus, a handsome 50-year-old Italian antiques dealer, falls under the spell of Betty (Badra), a beautiful young Tunisian woman. Their romance begins with a heroic act, but as their relationship deepens, difficulties arise: Betty's family sees Amadeus as a handsome, wealthy, and caring man. The Imam, for his part, sets his own conditions for their marriage. In this clash of cultures, can love triumph over traditions and family expectations, or will the couple be doomed to tear each other apart?
