Etangs de Sauvebonne, Route de Pierrefeu, D 12, 83400 Hyères
One Sunday a month, the Sauvebonne ponds open their doors to the public!
Visit this natural site, which has been awarded the LPO PACA refuge label, freely and at your own pace, and observe nature on your own. Swimming, hunting and fishing are prohibited.
Owned by the City of Hyères since 2019, the Sauvebonne ponds, like all wetlands, play biological, hydrological and physical roles that are essential to natural balance and human activities.
They are also home to a high level of biodiversity: many plant and animal species can be found here, including a multitude of birds, amphibians, reptiles, butterflies, dragonflies, mammals...

Visit this remarkable site freely and at your own pace, and observe nature on your own.
LPO PACA volunteers are on hand throughout the day to provide information and answer any questions you may have.
