Nestled in the heart of the Mercantour National Park, in the Vésubie valley, Alpha Park is an exceptional site dedicated to the discovery of the wolf and raising awareness of biodiversity.

Created in 2005, the park is located in Saint-Martin-Vésubie, in the Alpes-Maritimes region, an emblematic location for the history of the wolf's return to France. This wildlife park was conceived as a space for coexistence between humans and nature, where visitors can observe several wolf packs in semi-freedom within a protected mountain setting. It is both an educational and ecological project, aiming to foster a better understanding of the behavior of this often misunderstood animal. Throughout the visit, visitors wander through a magnificent natural landscape, alternating between observation points, educational areas, and interactive exhibits. The enclosures are designed to respect the wolves' well-being while offering a unique perspective on their daily lives.

The park also offers various activities: meetings with the zookeepers, workshops for children, and documentary films that recount the history of the wolf and its return to France after a long absence. Alpha Park was severely impacted by Storm Alex in October 2020, resulting in the loss of several wolves and significant material damage. However, thanks to local and national mobilization, the site has begun a gradual reconstruction, symbolizing the resilience of nature and humanity in the face of disasters.
