Astronomy lecture ‘Galileo, Newton, Einstein and Gravity’ with Gilles Bogaert

Social Club Shopping Promenade Riviera, 119 avenue des Alpes, 06800 Cagnes-sur-Mer
Gilles Bogaert, physicist at the CNRS and member of the Côte d'Azur Observatory, will be present on Saturday 7 February to give a lecture for the general public on the subject of gravity.
‘And yet it moves,’ said Galileo, referring to the Earth, when he was condemned. Newton gave a strange explanation for these movements, then Einstein gave another, even more confusing one. This lecture for the general public will discuss space, time, the speed of light and the discoveries made by these geniuses, who, in seeking to explain a very familiar phenomenon, gravity, transformed the world.
Bring the whole family to this educational event, where you can learn in a fun and immersive way!
